By using our website or booking any activity with Travelling Herbivore S.A.S. either directly on our website, social media, WhatsApp, phone, email or any other form of printed or digital channels listed or not listed, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Travelling Herbivore S.A.S. and its affiliates, DMC or operators reserve the right to substitute any activity at any given time without prior notice.
2. Travelling Herbivore S.A.S. reserves the right to cancel any tour without prior notice.
3. Passengers partaking in any activities and/or tours hosted, sold or managed by Travelling Herbivore S.A.S. its affiliates, DMC or operators must have valid travel insurance, regardless of the time length of the tour and/or activity. Failure to provide a valid travel insurance policy at the Welcome Meeting may result in participation denial by Travelling Herbivore and/or its affiliates and representatives.
4. Travelling Herbivore S.A.S. and its affiliates, DMC or operators reserve the right to change the order of activities listed in the itinerary, trip notes or any other digital or printed media without prior notice. Such changes will not be arbitrary and are made in the best interest of the group and to safeguard passenger’s safety as well as the welfare of wildlife.
5. Because we are visiting the habitat and home of different type of wildlife, we cannot guarantee any kind of sightings. Wildlife has its own will and they decide whether to come close to humans or to avoid interacting with us. We cannot force whales to come close to you nor wildlife to feel playful when we visit. Please be respectful and mindful of nature and its willingness to be left alone if they so desire.
6. Travelling Herbivore S.A.S., its guides, legal representatives, affiliates, subcontractors or operators reserve the right to take any still and multimedia recordings and images at their own will during all of our activities. By booking a tour with us, you are giving us permitition to use your image, likeness and voice in any media of our choosing. Futhermore, no video, photos or any media shot during any of our activities may be shared in any medium (digital or analog) for commercial purposes with the express concern of Travelling Herbivore or its affiliates.
Furthermore, no image, likeness or media that includes any members of Travelling Herbivore staff, affiliates, DMCs operators, logo, trademark, or any intellectual property shall be reproduced without express concern from Travelling Herbivore. Failure to comply will result in legal action.
7. If Travelling Herbivore S.A.S., its guides, legal representatives or operators deem it unsafe to partake in any activity included on the tour, such activities may not take place and no refunds will be provided. Furthermore, no refunds shall be given for activities in which the passenger decides not to participate, opts out or cannot partake in regardless of the reason.
8. Passengers must be ready at the stipulated point of departure within ten minutes of the departure time or risk losing their reservation.
9. If the tour cannot continue for any reason, in the operator’s or tour leader’s opinion, both may terminate the tour at any given time.
10. Passengers shall not carry any alcoholic beverage, matches (other than safety matches), explosives, volatile spirit, or other goods of a dangerous, flammable, or offensive nature. Suppose a passenger is required not to embark or disembark from the vessel under the provisions of this condition, or is denied participation in a tour and/or activity or is required to leave the tour or activity, in that case, neither Travelling Herbivore S.A.S. nor its affiliates, operators or the captain shall be liable to such passengers of any kind whatsoever.
11. Passengers who are under the influence at the start of a tour or activity and present, at the discretion of the manager in charge and/or the guide, a potential risk for themselves, the crew, or other passengers can be denied participation in the activity; no refunds will apply.
12. This booking is available for use on the dates listed on the confirmation at the time of booking. Travelling Herbivore S.A.S. reserves the right to grant a credit for the issue of a booking on another tour; no refunds will apply.
13. Travelling Herbivore S.A.S., its affiliates, tour leaders, DMC or local operators shall not be responsible for any injury to a person or damage to property arising from any tour. Passengers embark on our trips under their own will and volition.
14. Travelling Herbivore S.A.S., its affiliates, the tour leaders, DMC or local operators will adjust dietary needs to the passenger’s specifications within reason. Especial dietary choices or allergies should be disclosed at the time of booking.
15. Travelling Herbivore S.A.S., its affiliates, tour leaders, DMC or local operators shall not be responsible in any way shape or form for situations arising from political unrest, weather situations or any other factor that Travelling Herbivore S.A.S., its affiliates, DMC or local operators cannot control.
16. Travelling Herbivore S.A.S. reserves the right to contact guests regarding changes in tour times due to occupancy. We try our best to keep our tours as eco-friendly as possible; sometimes, small groups are condensed into one tour to reduce emissions and gas consumption. Travelling Herbivore S.A.S. will change no tour times without the consent of guests.
17. Sea/car/plane/motion sickness: there will be absolutely no refunds or tour rescheduling in case of sea sickness. Please be prepared!
Refund Policy
1. If Travelling Herbivore S.A.S. staff cancels the trip, you may receive a full refund. Exclusions: Weather, political unrest, wildlife protection, pandemics or any force majeure that by nature is out of Travelling Herbivore S.A.S.’s control.
2. Should you choose to cancel your tour with more than 24 hours’ notice, a 20% administration fee will be charged.
3. You may reschedule your booking if there is availability on the dates you wish to reschedule. This is up to Travelling Herbivore S.A.S’s discretion.
4. All EXCURSIONS and/or tours that go over multiple days Cancellation Policy:
• More than four weeks notice 100% refund,
• between 2 and 4 weeks, you’ll receive a 50% refund,
• within two weeks before tour departure, no refund.
6. Cancellation Policy for single day excursions and/or tours applies as follows:
• 8 days notice or more: 100% refund.
• 7 days notice or less: no refunds apply.
• There are no exceptions to this cancellation policy.
